Torquay: No 1 Holiday Destination

Itinerary

Day 1 We set off with comfort stops en route for our holiday in Torquay.
Arriving at our hotel late afternoon to check in and relax.

Day 2 A lovely trip with free time in Totnes before we catch the river boat
to Dartmouth with free time here before returning to the hotel. (Subject to
tidal timetables currently unavailable)

Day 3 A free day to explore this No1 holiday destination. Torquay is famous
for its sandy beaches, and genteel Victorian appearance. What better way
to enjoy a waterfront stroll than along Torquay's palm-lined promenade
and Princess Pier? The pier is the perfect place to stop and gaze out to
sea, or to enjoy watching the constant comings and goings in the adjacent
marina. Maybe take one of the many boat trips available from here.

Day 4 Today we travel to Maritime Plymouth. Rain or shine, Plymouth,
Britain’s Ocean City is home to breath-taking views with plenty to see
and do. Visit the Barbican, the cobbled streets, some great independent
shops, galleries, and restaurants. Take a short stroll to Plymouth Hoe. This
afternoon we board our boat for a delightful harbour cruise. Leaving from
the Mayflower steps passing Plymouth Hoe, Drakes Island and Mount
Edgcumbe.

Day 5 Sadly it is time to bid a fond farewell to this outstandingly beautiful
county of Devonshire as we make our way home with comfort stops enroute.

The hotel boasts a spacious sun terrace with views out to sea and a conservatory. In addition, it also has an indoor heated pool to enjoy. It is situated a short stroll into the town centre and down to the seafront. All rooms are en-suite with TV, tea/ coffee making facilities. Lift to all floors and some stairs.
