Enjoy a fun- filled fascinating day out for all the family at Monkey World - Ape Rescue Centre in Wareham, Dorset, home to over 260 rescued monkeys and apes. Spread out spaciously over the 65-acre sanctuary, you will find primates and apes in all shapes and sizes - from golden-cheeked gibbons and orangutans, to cheeky little squirrel monkeys. Meet Naree, one of 52 chimpanzees, she was rescued from Thailand in 2018 where she had been abused in a circus style show. Many of the primates have been neglected or kept in unnatural conditions.
