A day out to explore this Royal Town

Windsor is famous for its Royal connections and is steeped in the pageantry and history of the Royal family. A lively town great for shopping, restaurants and the Castle, not forgetting the glorious riverside setting. You may want to book a river cruise which is probably one the best ways to view the Castle. The oldest part of the town is located opposite Henry VIII Gate, there are several cobbled streets dating from the 17th century. Windsor is a shopper's paradise, with high street retailers, designer stores and antique shops sit alongside quaint, specialist and of course souvenir shops.
