Tenby & The Gower Peninsula

Itinerary

Day 1 We travel to Llanelli with comfort stops en-route, and our hotel the
Diplomat.

Day 2 Experience the sheer beauty of the Gower today with a visit to the
Gower Heritage Centre, which offers crafts, a watermill, and a museum. Sit
back and relax as we follow this with a coach guided tour of the Gower
Peninsula. Also, a visit to the picturesque Victorian seaside village of
Mumbles, with its boutiques, galleries, and potteries.

Day 3 Today we travel to the historic seaside resort of Tenby. A beautiful
town full of natural charm, narrow streets, harbour, and beautiful beaches.
Whilst here you may wish to take a long leisurely lunch in one of the many
pubs or restaurants. Pop into the local brewery and sample some of the
beers or take a boat trip out around Caldey island to see the wildlife or a
seal safari.

Day 4 This morning we will head straight for a nostalgic heritage train
journey on the Gwili Steam train. Set in beautiful countryside with abundant
wildlife, the line follows the river Gwili on a steady uphill journey through
farmland and wooded hillsides. This afternoon we travel to Carmarthen the
oldest town in Wales with its popular outdoor market and medieval lanes.

Day 5 It’s time to bid “hwyl fawr” as we travel homeward bound.
