IMPORTANT INFORMATION- CHANGE OF ITINERARY

PLEASE NOTE THAT ON DAY TWO WE WILL NOW BE VISITING LEEDS CHRISTMAS MARKET - ON DAY FOUR ON THE RETURN WE WILL BE VISITING CASTLE HOWARD - This is due to Castle Howard no longer accepting bookings for groups on weekends.

Day 1 Firstly we travel to Nottingham, where the Christmas Market* should
be in full flow. We then carry on our journey arriving at our hotel late
afternoon. This evening you may wish to take a stroll into Harrogate after
dinner.

Day 2 We are off to visit the truly magnificent Castle Howard, Yorkshires
finest house and estate. Decorated with festive trees, garlands, and floral
arrangements illuminated by candlelight and log fires and always a great
theme running through it. THIS WILL NOW BE DAY 4 ON THE RETURN

Day 3 Today after breakfast we make our way to York to the fantastic
Christmas Fayre. A stunning city at the best of times so many things to do.
The market, The Shambles, York Minster, the sites and smells that really get
you into the Christmas spirit.

Day 4 After breakfast we depart and head for Leeds with a short stop for
a visit in the town centre and a visit to the Christmas Market*. After time at
leisure here we complete our journey home arriving early evening. THIS WILL NOW BE DAY 2

The Cairn Hotel
This grand Victorian hotel boasts private gardens, a gym, and classical décor. The Windsor restaurant serves locally sourced traditional food. With its classic pillars and arches guests can relax and unwind with a drink in the bar lounge. 5 minutes from the centre of Harrogate and 10 minutes’ walk to Bettys Tea Rooms. All rooms are centrally heated en-suite with TV, Tea/coffee making facilities and lift to all floors.
