Itinerary
Day 1 Our journey begins with a visit to the vibrant coastal town of Bournemouth and comfort stops along the way. Enjoy some free time to explore the charming shops or take a stroll along the pier before we proceed to our hotel in Weymouth, where you can settle in before dinner.
Day 2 After a hearty breakfast, we will venture to the historical town of Dorchester, renowned for its rich history dating back to the Iron-Age and its association with the famous author Thomas Hardy. In the evening enjoy the entertainment and take advantage of the half price bar, making for a perfect end to the day.
Day 3 Today is yours to discover the charms of Weymouth at your own pace. Explore the picturesque harbour. Or browse the town’s quaint shops. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of the many restaurants, or simply unwind at the hotel.
Day 4 Our excursion today takes us to Poole, a bustling coastal town known for its award-winning beaches and Europe’s largest natural harbour. Enjoy free time to explore the Dolphin Shopping Centre, take a leisurely walk along the quay, or visit the famous Poole pottery shop.
Day 5 Before heading home, we’ll stop in Salisbury, famed for its medieval cathedral, home to one of the four surviving original copies of the Magna Carta. Take time to explore the Old City centre, with its cobbled street, unique shops, and historic pubs including the Haunch of Venison Pub, one of the oldest and most haunted pubs in Salisbury. Afterwards, we will embark on our journey back home arriving back late afternoon with comfort stops.
